Tech Tips

Here are some tech tips to keep you on your toes, so you can get even more from your IT.

TIP 1
The end of the year is a good time to prune your data, particularly emails. It’s a simple way to cut cloud storage costs and free up finite space.

TIP 2
Get into the habit of locking your computer when leaving it unattended. On Windows this is two keypresses - Windows button and 'L', on a Mac use Control-Command-Q.

TIP 3
Password choice. Generate complex passwords based on three words - an object, a colour, a place, a feeling, etc. Add some capitalisation, numbers and symbols. For example: Bike5BLUE!Angry56
